Howl! Season 4 of “True Blood” is in the works and it’s going to be a big one according to some of the stars of the pulpy HBO drama.
“It’s gonna be a crazy Season 4,” Rutina Wesley told Access Hollywood at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle Golden Globes party to announce Miss Golden Globe on Thursday evening in Los Angeles.
Director Alan Ball left viewers with a host of cliffhangers a few months ago, including a big one with Rutina, whose character – Tara – left Bon Temps in a convertible, seemingly never to return.
“There’s gonna be some changes with Tara,” Rutina told Access of what lies ahead for her character, who in Seasons 2 and 3, took quite a beating. “Hopefully some power and some strength.
“And not be tied up all the time,” she added, literally referring to the host of scenes in Season 3 that saw Tara in restraints.
However, it remains unclear if Tara’s adventures will see her returning to her original home of Bon Temps.
“That’s the big question,” Rutina said of whether Tara returns. “I can’t tell you that. I love my job too much.”
Another cliffhanger from Season 3’s finale involved Merlotte’s bar owner Sam, who fired a gun at the end of the last episode, possibly at his brother, Tommy Mickens, who was exiting Bon Temps with Sam’s sack of dough. But did he shoot his kin?
“I can’t answer that,” Sam’s portrayer, Sam Trammell told Access Hollywoodwith a grin at the InStyle event. “You don’t want to know… because something would be ruined for you, but you will find out. You will find out pretty quickly whether I did or did not.”
Sam confirmed, however, that fans will find out the answer to the shooting question in the first episode back.
